Chaos Guard Solutions was built out of frustration.
After more than a decade working across cybersecurity, from hands-on technical work to executive leadership and strategic advisory, we kept running into the same problems at the firms and programs we encountered. Clients getting handed templates instead of thinking. Engagements where the senior expert closed the deal and a junior analyst did the work. Organizations steered toward tool purchases instead of strategic clarity. Hard problems turned down because they didn't fit a service menu. The industry had developed a remarkable talent for looking thorough without being useful.
We decided to build something different.
Chaos Guard Solutions is a small, senior-led cybersecurity advisory firm. We work across the full range of what organizations actually need; from making sense of a security environment for the first time, to running the cybersecurity function as a virtual CISO, to sitting at the board table as an independent advisor. Every engagement is led by someone with the experience to understand what's actually happening and the judgment to know what to do about it. We do not hand work off to junior staff. We do not apply the same framework to every client and call it a solution. We do not decline problems because they're unusual.
That last part matters to us. Some of the most valuable work we do is on the engagements that other firms said no to. The situations that don't fit a standard model, where the problem itself needs to be defined before the solution can be designed. Those are the ones that require real thinking, and real thinking is what we're here to do.
We work with organizations of all sizes and across industries. What they have in common is that they have a cybersecurity challenge that needs to be solved. Not managed, not reported on, not wrapped in a framework and handed back. Solved. Some of those challenges are straightforward and we resolve them quickly. Some are genuinely complex and we stay until the work is done. Either way, the engagement ends when the problem is addressed, not when the contract expires.

Chaos Guard Solutions is a boutique cybersecurity advisory firm with deep expertise across risk management, governance and compliance, strategic leadership, and board advisory. Our team brings over a decade of experience spanning technical engineering, program leadership, and executive advisory across industries including financial services, private equity, defense, healthcare, and technology.
We are small by design. Every engagement benefits from direct access to senior expertise; not an account manager, not a delivery team, not a project coordinator. The person who understands your problem is the person solving it.
HOW WE WORK
We start every engagement by understanding the situation before we propose a solution. That means asking questions before making recommendations, defining the problem clearly before scoping the work, and being honest when the answer is different from what the client expected to hear.
We work across a defined set of services; from introductory engagements designed to bring order to an unknown environment, to ongoing strategic partnerships, to fully custom solutions for situations that require something built from scratch. What those services have in common is the same approach: senior expertise, clear thinking, and outcomes that actually move the needle.
We don't believe in reports that sit on shelves. We don't believe in assessments that describe problems without solving them. And we don't believe in work that looks impressive but leaves the client in the same position they started in.
WHY CHAOS GUARD
The name is deliberate.
Every organization we work with is dealing with some version of chaos; uncertainty about their risk exposure, pressure from a board or regulator they aren't prepared for, an incident they didn't see coming, or simply a cybersecurity environment that has grown faster than their ability to understand it. The chaos is real. So is our ability to address it.
Ordo ab Chao is the principle that order can always be brought from chaos. That no situation is too far gone, too complicated, or too unusual to be understood and improved. We've built a firm that lives by that principle. We take the situations other firms find too messy, too ambiguous, or too hard, and we bring clarity to them.
